Depending on the volume deficit in cheeks, patients may use 1-2 vials each side. Other areas such as marionette lines (lower face/vertical lines extending to jaw) or nasolabial folds (nose to mouth) can vary.
Facial fillers are an amazing product made of hyaluronic acid providing immediate and long-lasting results. Fillers in cheeks can last up to 1.5 years, lips up to 1 year, and other treatment areas may vary. Results are immediate and improve over 2 week time period as everything settles in. In some areas of the face such as the lower face, combinations of fillers and Botox or Jeuveau can help patients achieve enhanced results and improve longevity.
We always recommend great topical skin care including the use of tretinoin or retinol. We are happy to direct you toward the best products and can also prescribe you clinical grade products directly to your pharmacy as well.
There is no down time, but always the chance of some swelling or bruising. Please discuss with your provider if you are on blood thinners or taking any medication that could increase risk of bruising prior to treatment. Using oral Arnica supplement can help reduce this and can be purchased online.

What is a gummy smile?
When a person shows slightly more of their gums when smiling than they desire is called a "Gummy Smile".
How can it be fixed:
To achieve the desired aesthetic appearance, your injector can relax the levator muscle responsible for this by injecting in 3-4 areas around the mouth/nose.
How many units?
Most clients will require any where from 8-16 units depending on how strong their muscles are.
Frequency:
Average every 8 weeks because those muscles are always moving which makes it wear off faster than the forehead or other muscles.
